Hi Everyone,

Quick email, as I have just come off the phone with the leisure centre who have informed me that NO-ONE will be allowed access to the centre tomorrow whilst the Adam Peaty clinic is on unless they are using the gym, all other areas are off limits including the balcony until after 4pm.

To say I’m disappointed (which I shared with the duty manager) is an understatement, this is not what I would expect of an athlete of this status, but the team around him seem to have other views which was fed to Aimee in discussions with Edward Baxter tonight. Apparently Adam will not be entering through the front of the building so any of you that were hoping to see him and get autographs as he enters will not be able to do so.
I can only guess how some of you with young aspiring swimmers must feel, as I do, somewhat dismayed, even that the team at GLL have not pushed the fact that the team will be using some of the clubs purchased equipment during this event as a bargaining chip.

I have sent an email to Edward Baxter to share my feelings there also.
