Hi Everyone,

Well done for those who swam at our Presidents gala, and showed what they were capable of at the start of the season and supporting the clubs home gala, it was really good to see some PB’s and also people still at or around their PB’s from the end of last season. Well done to the team behind the scenes also for a really good gala, all comments have been positive. This weekend see some going to Carlisle gala, so good luck for that.

A few notices for you:

Carlisle Gala – Friday night has been brought forward to 6:30pm warm-up due to the number of distance swims

Presidents Gala Photos – the deadline has been extended for this due to the issues getting all the masses of photos edited and uploaded, please use the menu option on the website to view and order any photos you require ASAP.

Log-book and 2019 Commitments – I have offered A, B and C squads the logbook to fill in each week starting this week, so Sunday will be the first time its completed with the details of this week, both are available on the web site under the “Documents” menu and sub heading Committed Swimmers, its not compulsory and its just for me to know what the swimmers are feeling about anything including swimming 😊

No Land Training – This Sunday 6th October as Im away with the Cumbria squad (and my daughter) as one of the coaches supporting at the Inter-Counties team event at Sheffield, when I volunterered I did hope some of our swimmers would be going, hopefully next year.

Committee meeting – next Monday 7th October

TritonWear Units – delivery is now expected for these in November for those who put their names down, Ive attached the update in the pdf document.

Arena League – two of the team have been asked to support Carlisle Aquatics in the arena league over the coming weeks, well done Ewan and Josh, please remember your still representing Workington when your out there, so best behavours and all that.
