Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a pleasant bonfire night with no injury, and are all set for the next set of galas approaching, for the senior swimmers this Arena this Saturday for Josh and Ewan, for Evie, Millie, Megan and Charlotte its Stockport in a weeks’ time, for the rest of you it’s the Club champs the week after, then the Cumbria Winter meet the week after that and we are into December, so for the coaching team no weekends off ☹

Updates this week:

Stockport swimmers – is anyone fancying meeting up for a meal in the evenings? Please let me (Shaun) know ASAP.

Club Champs – has everyone picked up a sheet from the timing room, we need this back by the latest Monday next week, for the 9 & Overs all events are on offer, Im looking for at least 4 from each of you, for the 8yrs & Under you have the 4 × 25mtr (1 of each stroke) again Im looking for at least 2 selected from these for all of you. Please remember we are a competitive club and as such the coaches need to see you competing in at least our own gala to judge your progress yearly and its fun to swim with your friends at the club in the end.
Any one not entering better have a doctors note or a really good reason.

FOWASC fundraising – the team will need your support for the Club Champs by means of Cakes and raffle prizes, so please help support and raise funds for the club, Cockermouth will be doing the same and all proceeds will be split based on what’s supplied.

WASC Committee AGM – this will be January 13th at 7PM, we will do this on the balcony if the studio isn’t available, then start the normal meeting at 8pm in the café area once we have voted in the committee. We will have a parents meeting starting at 6pm that night so no swimming but everyone needs to attend (parent and swimmers of ALL squads from CoLTS to A Squad).
