Dear Swimmers, Parents & Coaches,

Thank you all for booking a place on the Art of Breaststroke at Workington Leisure Centre this Sunday, 12th February.

Arrival is from 9.15am and we will be starting the day in the fitness room (Studio 1) which is upstairs and turn immediately left through the double doors. Turn left again and go through the door and the room is at the end of the corridor. I think most of you are familiar with the layout of the building with the recent county championships taking place there.

If anyone arrives early can you please wait in the reception area of the Leisure Centre as we will be setting up prior to 9.15am.

9.15am arrival / registration
9.45am Keynote Presentation
10.45am Q&A Session
11.15am Medals & Photos
11.45am Break
12.10pm Change for Pool
12.15pm – 2.30pm Pool Session
2.45pm – Depart

Swimmers / Coaches / Parents will need to bring a packed lunch with them which can be eaten during the presentation prior to the pool session. There are vending machines available on site, however please don’t rely on them as from experience they don’t always work! Swimmers can bring their own floats/pull buoys with them for the warm up if they want to but it’s not essential. Swimmers will need a drink to stay hydrated through the pool session. Parents are most welcome to stay for the entire course and there is a spectator gallery to observe the pool session from.

Coaches who have booked onto the course will be able to shadow Nick poolside or they may prefer to observe the session from the balcony area. Coaching notes will be sent separate to this email.

If swimmers have any questions for the day, they can send them through in advance if they wish.
